Everyday, ASI puts our capabilities to work for our customers – here
are some examples:
- Our customized software solutions (CSS) have helped numerous Army program managers
reduce the amount of time to produce required reports. What previously took days
of time to produce, now takes just a few hours. Customers can spend their time analyzing data instead of producing reports.
- ASI’s web-based software patch repository is providing DoD users
with exclusive and immediate access to the most current vendor-released patches
and alerts – while not having to compete with the entire global internet
community. Overall response time to security vulnerabilities is significantly
faster than before. System administrators and other DoD user’s ability to
keep their systems and programs secure with the latest patches and alerts has
been greatly improved.
- Our LEAN initiatives have helped senior Army staff, program offices
and organizations improve business processes. Using benchmarking and value stream
analysis, the Apache program office was able to save an estimated 3,400 man-hours.
Using Lean Value Stream Mapping (LVSM), ASI helped the Air Worthiness Engineering
Directorate at Redstone Arsenal reduce the amount of time to produce a critical
safety item by 60 days, with a 90 percent improvement in process efficiency.
- Combining engineering, technology and acquisition expertise, ASI helped
the Defense Travel System program office receive a major acquisition designation
(ACAT 1AM), become fully funded and tested at 39 pilot sites – receiving
successful independent operational test and evaluation and approval for full
rate deployment. To date, DTS is deployed at 2,900 worldwide DOD sites and over
200,000 travel vouchers have been processed, making the travel process easier and improved for DOD's 2.4 million travelers.
- Strategic communications are vital to every organization. ASI is helping
both NASA and the Army by providing market research and analysis, stakeholder
assessments, and communications planning. Armed with the right information, our
clients can make informed decisions regarding key programs.
- Over the past year, ASI has developed 40 training courses in support
of Team Redstone – that includes providing complete training services to
over 9,000 civilians and 4,200 military and contractor personnel. From identifying overall training requirements to training resources and scheduling, ASI provides end to end training solutions for customers
such as the US Army Aviation and Missile Command’s (AMCOM’s) Personnel
and Training Directorate.
- ASI provides engineering and scientific analysis that is helping the
US Army Corps of Engineers in technology and environmental areas such as pavements, concrete and materials
technology; mobility systems technology; weapons and explosive effects technology
and laboratory support.
