Analytical Services, Inc. Names New President
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – December 7, 2007 – Analytical Services, Inc. (ASI) today announced that Cynthia Achorn has been named company president effective January 15, 2008. Achorn will be responsible for all business operations and performance, strategy and direction, customer relations, and resource allocation for the Huntsville-based management and technical services company. Previously, Achorn has served as vice president of strategic services and successfully led one of ASI’s largest contracts. She succeeds MG John W. Holly (USA, ret) who recently accepted a position with Lockheed Martin.
For the past nine years, Achorn has held various management positions within ASI. She was instrumental in the development of corporate operational standards, organizational development and strategic planning.
Upon being named president, Achorn noted, “I have always been passionate about ASI and committed to the company’s And Then Some culture, which focuses on going above what is expected, and then some for our employees, customers and communities. My priorities include continuing to provide the And Then Some service to ASI customers, provide professional development and growth opportunities for our employees, and be an advocate for the communities in which ASI employees live and work.”
