Analytical Services, Inc. Appoints Retired Major General John Holly to President and Managing Director
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – March 31, 2006 – Analytical Services, Inc. today announced that retired U.S. Army Maj. Gen. John W. Holly has been named president and managing director of the company. A current ASI board member, Holly previously served as senior vice president and general manager of Huntsville-based Intergraph’s federal solutions business unit.
As president and managing director, Holly will oversee ASI business operations and performance and is responsible for program management oversight, customer relations and resource allocation. A recognized expert in the research, development and acquisition of complex Department of Defense systems, Holly is the former deputy director of the Missile Defense Agency. Bringing a proven record supporting both Department of Defense and national missile defense programs, Holly will actively guide ASI’s long-term strategic vision and growth plans in both the space and defense marketplace.

Holly Background:
Before joining Intergraph, Holly served as the deputy director of the Missile Defense Agency and was responsible for managing the Washington DC agency’s 7,000 employees. Additionally, Holly served as the program executive officer for the Ballistic Missile Defense System and the director of the Joint National Integration Center. As program director for the Ground-based Midcourse Defense Joint Program Office, Holly led efforts to deploy a national missile defense system. As program director, Holly was responsible for leading the development, testing, construction, training and sustainment of the midcourse defense element – the cornerstone of the Ballistic Missile Defense System.
