Analytical Services, Inc. Teams with Advanced Systems Information Group to Win Navy Contract
SeaPort-Enhanced Contract Provides Navy Organizations Access to Engineering, Technical and Programmatic Services
HUNTSVILLE, AL – June 15, 2005 - Analytical Services, Inc. (ASI) today announced they were selected on a winning team to compete for services under the Navy’s SeaPort-Enhanced (SeaPort-e) contract. As one of the Navy’s “contracts of choice,” SeaPort-e enables ASI, as a subcontractor to Advanced Systems Information Group (AISG), to provide a broad range of services supporting weapons systems acquisition.
A contract created by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), SeaPort-e is open to all NAVSEA organizations, including NAVSEA warfare centers, NAVSEA headquarters, its program executive offices and field activities. Designed to reduce the difficulty, time, and cost of satisfying the operational needs of Navy customers, SeaPort-e is considered one of the most flexible contracting solutions for Navy requirements. Quick and easy, SeaPort-e delivers industry proposals within 15 days and awards task orders within 30 days of solicitation release.
Some of the services available under SeaPort-e and provided by ASI include R& D support, prototyping, acquisition logistics, modeling, test, evaluation, and engineering support.
