ASI Employee Chosen to Lead International IT Governance Committee
ASI employee Bob Brandofino has been selected as chairman of the Corporate Governance of Information Technology Committee/InterNational Committee for Information Technology Standards. He also holds an appointment as the primary Department of Defense technical representative to the INCITS Technical Committee on the Corporate Governance of Information Technology Committee.
INCITS is the primary U.S. entity dedicated to formulating and promoting effective use of standards in the field of information and communications technologies. The Corporate Governance of Information Technology Committee incorporates mechanisms, methods and models to ensure IT conformance to underlying and required policies, regulations, laws and ethical guidelines. Brandofino received formal designation at the 2011 INCITS Technical Committee Officers Symposium in April.
“Bob’s designation as chairman of the Corporate Governance of Information Technology Committee is the culmination of many years of persistent pursuit of a standard for project reporting, particularly related to continuous process improvement projects,” said Patty Popour, ASI senior vice president, Business and Analytical. “This is an impressive accomplishment and ASI is pleased to support Bob’s leadership of this important committee.”
Brandofino has been with ASI since March 2008 and is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
